FOOD
THAT PLAYS
WITH FIRE
Firestarter is a new live-fire kitchen in Liverpool Street, serving dinner Tuesday through Saturday.
The idea was simple: create a place where the food takes centre stage, cooked over flames you can see and smell from your table.
The menu leans into bold flavours, think crab doughnuts with cowboy butter, espresso-tamarind ribs, gochujang wings, and a double smash burger that goes full Animal Style. There’s a 450g Iberico pork chop if you’re hungry, or fire-roasted cauliflower with black garlic if you’re not eating meat.
We’ve got about 50 seats, including 8 at the counter where you can watch the whole show. The drinks list runs to nine cocktails, including our White Hot Negroni and Burnt Butter Rum Punch.
It’s relaxed. No tablecloths, no fuss. Just good food, open flames, and a proper vibe whenever you fancy it.
